In the fall of 2009, guitarists and founders John P. and Matt Z. were sold fake tickets to a Metallica concert. Angered, the duo decided to start a band of their own. A time of searching bore fruit in finding the talented and like-minded singer Jack Hope and bassist Ben Souder, and Matt Lippa on drums.
